The mission of the United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Keolumana United Methodist Church is a small and thriving faith community located on the Windward side of Oahu.
History of the Church
Keolumana United Methodist Church was organized in September 1965, and chartered December 12, 1965 when Hawaii was still a Mission District. Worship services were held at Keolu Elementary School.
- In 1968, when the Methodist Church united with the Evangelical United Brethren Church, the word United was added to the church name.
- In 1970 we began meeting at Emmanuel Episcopal Church for two years until the multi-purpose building and Sunday School classrooms were completed.
- Worship Services and a privately run preschool began at the present church in October, 1972.
To this day, Keolumana United Methodist Church continues to thrive as an important link to all United Methodist Churches in Hawaii and across the nation.
